been trying to geto ne to replace my sports cat for a full decat, but cant seem to find one anywhere.

want to make my car a bit louder. i have a large box bit on my backbox, would this also quienten (sp?) it right down?

i have a 3 inh exhaust with decat downpipe, but its not ver loud at all and as said a sports cat.

anyideas on where to get a decat center? its gota be 3"s though, tried ebay, but no joy

Scoobyworld now do a 3" decat centre pipe for the classic I think.

You've got a 95 wrx which only has 1 cat ,the center bit is a resonator (or they have been on most of the early imports i've seen).

is there any way to keep the gains of the 3" exhaust, but make it louder?

supposed to have a sports cat on it. where abouts would the cat be, on the bottom of the downpipe, or on the center section?

On early imports (possibly even late imports) the only cat is in the downpipe,UK classics have 1 in the downpipe and 1 in the centre section that is how i've understood it since owning an impreza.

If you remove the sports cat and replace with a decat that should make it nosier.

All depends really on what you mean by quiet.

yea ill look for anther up pipe then to replace.

its really quiet, i had a 16v vectra with just a remus center section and it was much louder.

also had a fiat bravo 20v, with a cat back exhaust that sounded like a tractor!

can you get to the top bolts of the down pipe without removing loads of engine?

Think when mine was changed the garage did it all from underneath so i'm not sure how eay it is if you don't have a lift or ramps.
