Default none start impreza

Hi. I've got a 99 impreza wrx with the sigma alarm/ immobilizer that won't start. The car turns over fine but the fuel pump won't work. Any ideas?? It's had a new fuel pump aswell so don't think it's that.

When did the problem start before the new pump was fitted or after?
Can you hear the fuel pump priming (sp?)?
Have you checked the connections of the fuel pump?

It is most likely the immobiiser on the fritz, I did a homer on one and ended up wiring the fuel pump to the ignition switch with some decent gauge wiring and an inline fuse. Firstly though check the two relays under the dash at the drivers side up near the heater vents. make sure they are clicking when you put the key in the ignition and turn it on. also check the wiring under the rear seat.

Hi. it was before the new fuel pump was fitted. My mate pulled up in it lastnight. Then came out about an hour later and it wouldn't start. We couldn't hear the fuel pump working and so changed but its still not working.
