improve impreza 1.6
Hi
First I’m sorry abut my language skills, it's not my mother tongue.
I purchase a 2004 impreza 1.6 not 4x4 wheels drive auto not manual.
And this car is far to slow for me.
I can't drive like this. It drives me crazy.
I don't want 30 hp in this point. ($$$).
I have moved the nock sensor and it gave me a very small improvement.
It not worth it because you need to use 98 fuel and it cost a lot more.
And the improvement is very small.
I want to buy a lightweight pulley crank.
But I don't know if it will fit my engine ej16.
Turbo is not an option for me.
In this link
Impreza TS Tips
you can see a few advises, but when I see a web site that support an electric turbo, it just not serious enough for me.
What do you think? Is there a product that worth buying?
1
First, the lightweight pulley crank (if it will fit me) and if you can give me a link to a good lightweight pulley crank in ebay.com
2
And I think to change the ignition weirs to a low resisting one.
It's not a turbo model, so I don't need an expensive set.
Original?
Ngk?
Bosch?
3
Air intake kit is not mach as an improvement! Maybe only an inbox K&N filter with pipeline to drew cold air.
4
Exhaust?
Please only knowledge peoples no assumptions.
Assistance will be great
thank you

improve 1.6 impreza
I have already purchased the car.
There is no problem with the engine, it just weak from the factory.
I think maybe to connect an 2 liter non turbo engine to my gear box (front will drive)
Is it fit bolt on?
There is to 2.0 engine 123 bhp & 160 bhp.(2.0r)
I believe it will be easy to legalize the weaker version,
And it will be cheaper
But is it bolt on with no modification
(gear box, drive train, suspensions, brakes, angine base)
Improvement from 95 to 123 bhp is will satisfied Me.
if i can do something different to gain 15+ hp and more torq.
i don't ask more in this point.
thank you

This is a wind up isn't it
If you wanted a 2L why didn't you just buy one from the outset
Anyway NA Scoobs are rubbish at best, as for a 1.6, PMSL

A 1.6 auto is never going to be quick, and I "think" that the 2.0ltr transplant is your best option if it will fit.
In my opinion, I would sell the 1.6 and buy a 2ltr Sport. I know that's not what you want to hear but it is the most sensible solution.

the price that i payed for this car was werth it.
i didn't know is soooo slow.
can i transplant 2.0 bolt on?
is it fit to the gaer box?
i don't need a quick car. only quicker then normal 1.6
if there is a way to get more with out transplant 2.0.
