Eh? Are you saying that your mods have yielded 332bhp on the OEM non-mappable ECU? Highly unlikely?!?!

ESL is great. Uses all of Subaru's OEM input/output sensors and retains the great IAM (ignition advance multiplier) feature! (I think ESL are also developing boards for the v.3/4 and will have it available after Xmas).

It's also the cheapest way to map a v.1/2!... especially from www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk

If you want to map beyond 1.1bar, then you'll also need to fit the v.3/4's 2.5bar, or the v.5/6's 2.7bar, MAP sensor.

As above, the ESL board is very good.

Ah, that explains it then lol

How would his Mines ECU measure up against the ESL? ... 'Cause, bearing in mind the extra expense, it simply might not be worthwhile him going to ESL (although obviously he could then flog on his Mines...)

A mines is likely to be mapped to run high ocatine JAP fuel, so you are possibly running very lean, and on the edge if not detting.

ESL is great had one fitted to my standard 1993 WRX and I mean standard. and scott.t of PolarPerformance got me 292bhp from it on Surrey rolling road.

As said above ESL ratains all safety features of a stock ECU so it will retard timing if it detects knock etc..
