Im thinking of getting a FMIC for my classic. Anyone got any advise of what to buy and where from?

I seen some on ebay for £200. Are they any good or just a pile of crap?

Don't be tempted by the ebay tat.Hybrid all the way! Their less than £300 delivered,Look for Harvey or Bob_5.

Got told by the clinic a FMIC on a my99 uk, will eat mafs, so i stayed away from that idea

yeah they do tend to if you up rate the turbo, mine did it durng mapping, but o how i love autronics and its lack of maf hehe

Only because the FMIC requires the standard air box to be removed and an induction kit fitted.

Careful choice of induction kit (Apexi/K&N/Green) and ensure the MAF is secured to prevent vibration ans it should be alot more resilient.

Don't be tempted by Jap HKS/Blitz or any cheap Induction as their filtration is pretty poor.
