Do i need to remap my hawkeye if i fit a decat?

Full decat - remove all three then yes.
if its just the middle you might get away with it for a bit but will probably et your engine light on.
Safest thing is to map it straightaway, you'll get a big powerboost on a wrx too.
Even garages that don't map say this and it is the expert view.

depends what you want from it really.
on my 07 WRX with a decat i'd get over boost issues, and that would result in fuelcut + check engine light. you can fix this yourself with opensource software.
i would recommend a remap though, power went up from 266bhp to 307bhp torque went up from 399Nm to 489Nm. and it is overall more resposnsive than before.

i decatted my hawkeye (except main cat) and put a bigger panel filter on it and the engine management light didnt even come on, but you need the remap so the engine can deal with the extra power. i ended up with 280bhp, 310lbs/ft and 421NM which im more than happy with
