Sounds like you are in 'limp home mode'
I would imagine standard Terzo should peak at around 0.9bar
I am sure someone here can come up with suggestions to help you sort it out - goo luck

should be 0.9 standard... 1.5 is way high unless its been modded and re maped to hell...mine only runs 1.1 bar with a good few mods an maps....
prob in limp home mode try connecting black and green plugs and re set ecu or take battery off for a good few hours.....or clean boost solinoid outwith break cleaner

beat me too it

Yeah, first try ECU reset before condemning anything else. With Classics, it's simplest to just disconnect battery for about an hour...

BTW, someone else had the same prob on his New Age and I told him to do a reset, and it sorted it - see here...

cheers so far all, turned off batt for 2 hrs and is still the same i feel like im driving a nova lol

tbh it doesnt seem 'wrong' and runs bloody sweet except for some faffing about b4 the turb grips, this may be another issue for another day tho...

peeking at other threads the coil packs may have issues but yeah one thing at a time....

next ting to do with the turb would be to have a word with the waste gate arm?

basically im looking to double the blow as ive just got 0.5 at mo here

waiting for divine intervention (lol).......

well on yours you should have a two port boost valve and is diffrent from a 3 port in respect on if its blocked it will just pump air to the actuator arm and not boost....what petrol have you put in..mine when it was standard i put tesco normal in when i first picked car up and it was rubbish no boost till drove full tank off and put super in and then it was on top form

Doing an ecu reset using the self diagnostic connectors is a much better way imo, at least you know its cycled as you can hear it.
Battery method is a lottery by comparison.

Its in limp home mode, reset the ECU properly and read the fault codes and we'll all have a much better idea.

Question

Can you explain why disconnecting the battery for an appropriate amount of time i.e. 30+ mins, might not reset the the ECU? What's the science behind this reasoning?

i have a terzo that only boosts to 0.5 bar as well so if anybody has any ideas onn how to sort it or what might be causing it would be helpfull. it's getting apexi'ed shortly due to few mods so can the boost be upped with that.

Your question was answered by Peanuts above.

Now for the science bit. ITS THE BEST WAY.

When the battery is disconnected the ECU simply forgets, the problem is still unknown so what's the point? When the ECU is reset properly it runs a diagnostic check and you can read where the problem is so it can be repaired.
