Default Blitz Nur Spec R Owners...

Do you ever get any trouble from the PIGS for having 1 of the beasts fitted? Just wondering how much of a pain they are before i spend £400 on 1.

Cheers

My 3" decat into an Apexi N1 1 Piece cat back is louder than the Blitz. Never been a problem. Lift if you see a marked car.

i have a full decat unresonated on my sti classic and had the h&s jap style back box and changed it after about a week due to the excessive noise it made, it was making my ears bleed. go for it if you like that sort of thing but i changed my back box for a sti genome one and i am delighted with it.

Had an unmarked car follow me yesterday and pull me over (due to reports earlier of a similar looking car driving around fast).

Was a lovely lass and just had a look around the car then chatted for about 20mins. My mate joked that she hadn't given me a ticket for anything and she said she could if she wanted (looking at the exhaust) but didn't.

If you behave like an idiot, the exhaust gives them a good reason to give you a ticket.

Never had a problem in all the years I've had my Nur Spec R.

Never got stopped when i had mine fitted, but i still got rid as it was killing my hearing, sure it was good at first but they soon become obnoxious to others and yourself imo.
That plus the fact it made 107db with the bung in meant i had to modify it to run at scooby shootout strangling the power.

Now run a buddy club which is still loud but a little quieter without the bung than the Blitz with a bung in.
