Info on the model and year of your car would be helpful

Subaru changes sensors and ECU's and the fixes needed are different LOL

Cheers

There is no simple resistor fix for removing the downpipe cat......the ECU will register the loss of the cat and likely throw CEL P0420

The ECU is quite clever and expects to see a varying signal so will throw a cel as it thinks there is something wrong.

You can buy a CEL fix which attaches to the rear 02 sensor and is meant to feed the ECU the correct signal, some places sell a spacer which moves the 02 sensor away from the exhause flow which again is meant to fool the ECU (only ever seen these for sale in the USA) and finally you can have the ECU re-mapped so the CEL does not appear.

Re-mapping is the only one that is 100% guaranteed.......and makes the car go better LOL

HTH
