wieght reduction??

Default wieght reduction??

can anyone give me some tips on wieght reduction on a wr1?? ie, removal of air con etc....?? thanks

Yeh I'd be interested in any useful tips. We have a 205 mi16 as a track car and its as fast, and we can't be having that.

Having said that its nice to get to work and not be deaf.

empty out your boot spare wheel etc...
if your going down the pod go there with half a tank max

oh and dont eat for about a week ,lol

ive stripped the rear seats and all metal fittings underneath.
removed spare and jack ,replaced with tyre foam stuff.
removed sound deadening that someone put in the boot,. that **** weighed a ton and also a b4stard to get out!

thats all for now. saved a few kilos , plus it didnt cost anything apart from tyre foam.

you could get a light weight battery - quite expensive .
or remove the aircon like you said.
