Default CLEANING MAF QUESTION

Hi, got a question i've read a post on here which talks about cleaning a maf sensor with brake cleaner, does anyone know if this works?

DO NOT clean it with brake cleaner it is very fragile. The heaviest thing i would use is contact cleaner

Mine were running crap waay bk but didnt throw cel/faultcode.......suspected maf from the symptoms,cleaned it put bk on got cel light, so at least i knew for sure lol ,didnt change anything cleaning it.

So so fragile it can't be cleaned. And the pistons are made from milk chocolate..!

Give it a clean with some carb cleaner, just be careful not to damage the sensor.

Thanks for the info guys, i will stay well away from brake cleaner but i think i will still have ago at cleaning it. If i do brake it i will try and pretend it was already broke
