Smile The quest for bhp NEED ADVICE PLEASE

I have had a 97 classic uk for last 6 years got 80k on clock i have just had full service and i had a fault looked at it turns out the boost controller is knackered so i am having a a blitz sdbc boost controller fitted and he has advised me to fit a uprated fuel pump as well so i am.
I have already got a blitz induction kit and a full exhaust (decat ) fitted .
I was made aware that slight smoking from turbo after a while idling so was thinking of purchasing a turbo poss td05 as mine is td04 model .

I was wondering if this is the right way to go

so if any of you out there could give me a bit of advice it would be appreciated

the standard turbo is a td04 which is around a 280bhp turbo..
the standard injectors are 380cc and good for around 300bhp.

I would skip the blitz boost controller and go with an Apexi AVC-R imho a far better boost controller.

but.. you need it remapped for higher boost ideally and will see much more power from the car.. aftermarket ecu needed on the 97 and 98, also this could be used to control the boost rather than boost controller.. so use the money from boost controller for ecu.

Ideal level to aim for is td05 16g or vf34/35, 550cc injectors, aftermarket ecu and remap should see 310~340
