depends who you ask, always usd to be a super + octain booster, but then some now say v power on its own is ok, you pays your money you take your choice.

although needing to get it mapped for uk fuel is a good exuse to use witht he mrs hehe

depends on year, v1-v2 pre 96 are ok with v-power after that is when if i remember right jap fuel went to 100octane spec (lucky buggers) this is where you might want to watch it a bit more, still running standard ecu and boost levels you should be fine due to knock protection built into ecu, start playing, start thinking of atleast chipping if not remapping on 99+ cars where ecutek can be used, otherwise go to ecu upgrades.

would sty well clear of 'chips' and egeneric maps. there cheaper than fullr emaps but no gaurentie on the performance or how sfe the map will be on your car

imo STI should always be run them on v power or tescos 99 ron.

Early imports (93-96wrxs) are fine on 97 ron.

IIRC It was the V5 onwards that were mapped for 100 RON, which reflected its availability in Japan. I'm far from an expert on this though. If in doubt, see a specialist.

my 92 wrx used to run perfectly happily on supermarket 95 ron without issue, even with a decat and never had a red on the knocklink
