connect laptop to 94 WRX
Hi all,
Wanted to know if it is possible to connect a laptop / PDA running an ECU monitoring application to a 94WRX?
Is there a connection under the dash on this model to allow me to do it or is this only on the later models?
Also, if it is possible, what lead would I need to connect them up?

TBH, I've never seen one. My mate has a 95WRX, and we've never been able to find one for his.
There's plenty available for 01 and onwards models. As these use the OBD protocols. There are a few others that work on the 99/00 models, as these use the same OBD style connector, but use the ISO9141 protocol instead. Older models use a completely different ecu and another different protocol. IIRC
If yours is the same as my mate's car, it'll have a yellow connector with 5 wires. He has had a garage read it for him in the past, but we've never come across anything that we could buy ourselves (for reasonable money).
