The logbook will tell you.

 

Certificate, accept nothing else as all parts can be had second hand. No certificate, no PPP !

Makes a big difference, obviously the car market is not good atm but PPP cars were making anywhere between 500 to 1k more than non PPP cars. Other signs are the blue I/C pipe visible in the engine bay, decatted rear centre pipe (short one between the centre section and down pipe) and the back box. You also get a silver sticker which is supposed to be put in the door sill. All the ppp parts can be had second hand so if the car is being sold as PPP to attract a higher price it MUST have the certificate. Another way to find out is to contact Mike Wood at Prodrive with the registration number and ask if it is listed as having been sold the PPP, as they issue the certificates and reissue lost ones.
