Check the new cam for burr's and clean as necc - put some moly lube on the cam lobes and thrust face of the cam.
After you start the engine up,keep the engine revs to 1500-2000 rpm for approx5 to 10 mins to ensure the cam lobes get good oil splash and to prevent scuffing and galling.
