Default IT JUST CUT OUT!!

Help needed please chaps, cruising slowly through town today & engine just stopped. Noticed straight away the fuel pump wasn't running at all. The pump is a walbro and is less than a year old, all fuses are ok, pump connector under rear seat seems fine too. Any ideas?

check one of the bigger fuses under the bonnet if you take the cover off there are two green fuses on the left side of the fusebox check them.
one of mine blown stopping the pump work.

or it could also be the fuel pump relay.

if its a classic the relay is above the fuse box in the car, its hard to get to and is a round metal cylinder, think its the one with the green plug on it?

if you search the net you'll find ow to test them

Sorted!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whilst looking for loose earths etc in engine bay, I heard intermittant clicking from under fuse box & fan clicking on & off occasionally, kind of like when you re-set the ecu. So - i tried to re-set the ecu (you never know it might have worked), which it wouldnt let me do! Faulty ecu I thought. When I finally got towed home I took the ecu out & put my spare Z4 in, Bingo!!!!! Starts & drives just fine. Strange one eh?
