Default Dump valve question

Hi all newbie here to scoobys, had my jap import wrx 1995 classic on the road a couple of weeks now and last week i fitted a dump valve, the car to me doesnt seem to pull as strong with the valve on, or have i just got use to the power now does anyone know if they can cause any probs.

Common thing mate. Had a Forge BOV on my 96 classic and since putting standard recirc on it seems a lot happier

Well I fitted a dump valve to my wrx 96 classic and it seemed to loose a bit of power and also used more petrol in the end my local garage told me that the dump vave was leeking and that was the cause of the problem hope this helps.

Cheers for that guys will put the standard recirc valve back on and see how it goes.
