It caught on everything.
I now have this one on ebay, it looks near enough the same but it's cheaper, more substantial in weight and doesn't catch on everthing.
Subaru Impreza Jun splitter / spoiler 92 > 98 WRX STI on eBay, also Body Modifications, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-May-08 17:37:31 BST)
Only downside was it needed sanding down and repriming as the firbreglass wasn't 100% on the surface but it's far better than the one i had before.
Any reputable sprayer would sand it down to check for imperfections anyway.
The sprayer did a perfect job, even got the red fleck dead right.
He isn't always selling them though so keep an eye open id imagine he's knocking them up himself.
This is a better pic of the old splitter.

I could take another with the new one if you want.

I agree, i wouldn't bother swapping to a VF35 considering what you already have. I would certainly upgrade the injectors to 550's as well. Don't forget the likes of Nengun if you want to get the injectors for a good price and also DR Motorsport if you are looking at body parts: Home - I have been buying bits off him for all 3 scoobs and his work is first rate .

Dont waste your money! If you have 440 use them!
Read my spec, running 440 at 94% duty at 1.5 bar on a TD05.
And if you was to go for more power you would have to change loads so having a set of 550 now aint going to save you anything.
P.s. Dont forget your gearbox!!!!

Hi, im still running 380's at the mo,was thinking of 440's as they can be had for £100. I've been serching the net, seen a set of 550's from the states by venom motorsports,£165 delivered.Anyone heard of them?
Im fitting a Sti v5 tmic later in the week, will this be ok for 330bhp? Im also fitting it for the cosmetic value,as i think it will tart things up a bit!(see my profile pic).
I've been giving the gearbox some thought, and decided if it goes it goes, then replace it with something like the six speed. I like the ratios the RA box has,so wait n see!

94% duty isn't exactly ideal. My Nismo 555cc injectors came in at about £220 and are perfect for the job. They just need a quick mod done to them that most tuners know about and they fit perfectly.
I had no problems selling my original 440cc injectors. If you are uprating your car's performance, don't gamble on something like the fualling .

my last car was a 2003 wrx and i was informed by Andy F to change to 550's with a 16g turbo.
Got a set of sti pinks second hand for £180 and the car mapped around 330 -340bhp.

Keeping to the original question, no there's no point moving from a TD05 to a VF35. I've had both and went the other way. To me the VF felt more like my original TD04 but just more of everything if you get what I mean. The TD05-16G felt like a bigger turbo, slightly more biased towards the top half of the revs, but keeps on pulling at full boost. Ultimately the TD05 is the turbo that will net you more power IMHO. Plus it can be rebuilt into a 20G later on, whereas VFs are nto rebuildable AFAIK. At least, not easily.
As far as injectors go, 440's will do your low-mid 300's target, just. If you invest in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, the 440s will definitely be OK. Very high duty cycles up in the 90s aren't generally thought to be a good idea, unless there's no other way. If it was me, I would probably stick with a standard reg and fit 550s now so that later on I could go for more power if I needed it.

Thanks for the inputs,good reading!
Right,i think i'll go for the 550's,only a few quid extra so makes sense in the long run,as i'll probably get used to the power and want more anyway!
I've already done the fuel reg as said, any thoughts on the Sti V5 tmic and venom motorsport injectors?
