Hi there,

I have a 2004 WRX and I am considering getting an ECU remap. The name EcuTek seems to keep cropping up and general opinion says that I should go for one of these. Realistcally how much additional power can I expect from a remap. Am I going to notice a difference ? Will reliability be affected ? The engine is currently standard apart from a Scooby World back box and a Green panel filter ?

I would go with at least a centre decat and a new intercooler y pipe before the remap, but if you can stretch to it a decat up pipe sports cat down pipe and uprated fuel pump will make it more worthwhile.
