Spark Plug Gaps ????
#6
Be careful with PFR7B's i had nightmare misfire issues with those when they were gapped at .6 .65 or .7 turned out later i was not alone on this. Apprently PFR7G's are far better??? Subaru sell PFR6B's off the shelf but can order the 7's if needed. In the end i put my NGK Iridiums back in misfire = gone

Yup, I agree... Run a set of PFR7G-11 & gap them to 0.7mm & they will be fine.

Your car was originally built using the "G" range of plug, only Std UK cars run a "B" series, the reason you have to close your gap down from the factory setting of 0.7mm to 0.6mm is that the plug is struggling to cope with the demand you are placing on it, if you fit the "G" series next time you change plugs you will find that it copes much better and it will eliminate the tendency to hesitate on boost at the correct plug gap.
