help non starter
just rebuilt the engine on my classic and now its all back in it wont turn over on the key, there is no 12v feed down the starter solinold wire when the key is turned,is this likely to be the starter relay?if so is it next to the fuel pump relay up behind the drivers footwell behind the dash??have tried towing it and it still wont fire, have made sure that the fuel primes when the key is turned which it does, anyone got any ideas??have checked all fuses too.

Could possibly be the starter relay. From looking at the workshop manual I have it shows the starter relay as being under the LH side of the dashboard. But the manual shows the car in a LH drive layout. So not sure if it will be under the drivers side or passenger side on a RH drive car, if that makes sense
It is in the same block as the ignition relay, power window relay and front fog relay.
Hope that is some help.
