Default How to change Actuator on VF36/37?

Does anyone have a guide or instructions handy for fitting the above? The new unit is a Forge unit.

Bluenose its just unbolts off the turbo and the actuator arm is held in place with a spring c clip also pull the hose off which goes to your boost solenoid I cant remember if there is an adjuster nut but if there is just make the forge actuator rod the same lenght as the origional I will be taking my intercooler off this weekend so I will double check.

Yes to get decent access plus you will have to take the heatshield of from round the turbo its only 4 bolts and just lifts off.

I put an uprated TD actuator on my VF37 and its detailed on my project thread. Just make sure you are ready for the c clip to pop off as it'll ping quite far

Floyd - I can't find the post where you show how to install it. I can only see the pic of the one you bought.

Oh, I may have not written it up. It's very straight forward though. Simply unbolt the old one and remove the c clip. Make sure there is a bit of pre tension to hold it closed and the length is about right. Try opening the existing one to gauge the tension on that one first.
