Funny Hesitation
Hey guys, after a little advice.
I've got a MY93 WRX import, i haven't had it long. There were a few probs with her like a couple of coils pack down and some boost vacuum hoses wrongly connect, but thats all sorted now.
I have an electronic boost controlled, but if i try and adjust boost past 0.8bar the feels likes it spitting..... Its hard to explain but the feeling is like a mild loss of power when accelerating hard in most gears at around 4k rev it is not a severe loss like fuel cut, but mildy on...off...on....off of the power.

I have tried unpluging the MAF whilst the car was running and it did indeed Stall. Not sure how old the plugs are, but they were NGK Iriduim plugs that are in it.

If the MAF is at fault it may cause the car to run lean unfortunately disconecting the maf whilst the car is running doesn't tell you exactly the condition of the sensor you could always spray carb or brake cleaner onto the sensor (i've never done it so can't say if it works or not) and checking the plugs is relatively easy (if you don't know how old they are for £35 it may be worth changing them anyway)

I did buy i can of carb cleaner aswell, so to give the boost soleniod a right old soak (whilst in auxillary test, green ecu connectors) So i sprayed some in the maf aswell If fact i was spraying it everywhere, took the little hose off for the Idle control valve and whilst the engine was running give the a little bit
I was wanting to take my car to Zen and let them give it a full service, so i know everything has been done, but funds are tight so cant do that for a few weeks, might just buy some plugs for now.
