Default Some help with some modding ideas

Morning all

I know this is asked thousands of times but looking for specific ideas for my scoob. Currently own a 03 WRX STi PPP blobeye which is supposedly running 305bhp (or less given people's experiences) - but lately im looking at what options i have to improve the power slightly and create less lag.

I wont have a massive budget but was thinking of looking at edging towards 325bhp or more if possible. I understand that a good remap is a good option but wanted to see what else could be done before the remap so that i could benefit more from it.

Exhaust system - i like the PPP setup and noise, plus i dont fancy taking any de-cats off for MOT's but is there anything restrictive left in there on the sti ppp setup?

Intake - Panel filters cheapest and best option on a budget?

Turbo - people have mentioned to me about getting the jdm twin scroll turbo's? is this an option? What else needs replacing if going for this?

Im getting geometry setup done today and with my new pads and dics think brakes are excellent so wont be changing them at the moment.

Have i missed anything?

Default Not what you want to hear !

Whiteline adjustable rear anti-rool bar and drop-links.....

Kills the understeer, and makes your car handle !

Twin-scroll will be too little power, for too much money....

Re-map should see you around 330-340 bhp, and that's a start for a road car...

HTH

Consider the spec shown on my profile.
Personally though I don't know if 25-35 bhp will make much of a difference for the cost of the mods.

thanks for info guys

Will a proper remap really make as much as 330-340bhp?

If so combining that with a free-flow panel filter might be the way i go
