Both would be good but as pat said to me "if a jet blocks on the aquamist?? " It could be drastic but you know your putting the right amount of methanol in

if you put it into a car that has not been mapped for it, it will run lean, and cause you problems

its only worth doing in extreme cases!! Its not worth it on a lightly modded car

i run 20%methanol 20%toluene 60%vpower,water only aquamist with good results.around 500bhp on standard jdm block.depending on your aquamist system you can wire in a relay that will cut boost to actuator pressure if the jet blocks.

if mapped for methanol then yes has to be used at all times.my last car(my05 wrx)was mapped on vpower only at 340bhp 338lb/ft torque.after map for 10%methanol ran 370bhp/348lb/ft torque.obviously not on standard turbo but using vf34,bigger injectors, front mount etc.depending on how much methanol you buy at a time can be bought for £120 per 205l

Yes, but would require completely new fuel lines etc as 100% neat methanol is relatively 'corrosive' compared to petrol or a petrol/methanol mix

They ain't on about 100% meths in the aquamist !!! People are on about either running an Aquamist system or running methanol as a fuel additive say a 10% mix which is basically what mine is at

But your car still runs on petrol, then the methonal is injected as a booster. So its not running on 100% methonal.
