had my car remapped with a simtek ecu about 1 month ago and on my way home today when putting my foot down sounded like a rattley exhaust but my check engine light was flickering which indicates det, not good, so got some octane booster and stuck thats in but no joy its also popping on the over run and ticking over lumpy, does anyone have any ideas what could cause this before i call the mapper back.

hard to say really possibly set up to run to much boost

been running fine for a month was set low as clutch was slipping

Are you running with the MAF or is it now MAP based with the Simtek.

could be just a hose blown off or loose somewhere.

all sorted fitted new walbro fuel pump seemed the old one was getting lazy !
