Why is it, when I reverse off my drive in my STI 2007 2.5, the diffs lock and feel like they are fighting against each other??? Is this normal? As my 2005 never did it..Subaru say it's the limited slip diffs...is this true??

Does your STI have DCCD? If so, make sure it's nowhere near locked when on tarmac. If your gearbox or diff have been changed, someone might have put a mismatched one. Eg. a 4.1rear diff and 3.9 gearbox will definitely fight each other.

Mine does the same, when I first got the car I reversed and thought I'd hit somthing, if you look when someone reverses the car in a circle it drags a wheel & binds the others up,which you would expect in locked dif but not in auto? Subaru said "they all do that sir, its an STi", but they say that about anything trim rattles uneven tyre wear, clutch slip!!!!

thats not good at all as its only done 600 miles why was my old sti ok that was a 20l one
