FPR hose goes where?
Hi guys,
Just had my engine replaced on a MY95 WRX coz the big ends went on the previous one. I had a major overfuelling problem which I have just tracked down to the FPR hose having been left unconnected.
However it's pretty dark under the manifold and I can't see where the hose is supposed to go to. I know it's supposed to be connected to the manifold somewhere but not sure exactly where.
Any one have any idea where the hose is connected on a stock system?

i would think you have a boost leak as well?
do you have a gauge on the fpr, or is it a standard one? if you have a gauge standard pressure is 3 bar with the vac hose off.
on myoo engine it goes to the manifold near the turbo, but it doesnt matter where the vac pipe goes on the manifold, as it will be the same from any of the vac pipes coming off it.

The hose is so tiny that the boost leak would be minimal.
FPR is the stock one. I think I'll make one last shot of identifying where it should go, failing that I'll just get a t-piece and connect it to the other manifold piping.

from memory...
there are 4 vac line connections on the manifold on the 95 or 5 if you include the brake servor..
larger of the 4 is dump valve
the one on the throttle body goes to purge solenoid (under inlet manifold)
that leaves two on the inlet manifold.. one goes to the FPR and the other to the drivers inner wing to the pressure exchange solenoid and map sensor (one pipe etc).
hope that helps?
