Default scooby dead,, HELP<, fuelling perhaps ??

Felt bit flat yesterday, started her up today, ran for few hundred yards, felt hesitant, opened throttle little more, died on me, started again minute or two later, got her home, now just fires up and dies instantly,, HELP

what is most likely,, fuel pump ???
where can i take it in kendal as teg is packed solid and i ve no way to get it there, thanks steve

no i havent, i had the error code thing bookmarked but pc died and dont have the bookmark no more, any link greatfully appreciated, thanks

fault code tested

35,23,11

so thats
35 Purge control solenoid valve
23 Mass air flow sensor
11 Crankshaft position sensor


anyone got any advice on parts etc, thanks

firstly I would reset the ecu, then run it and then check codes again (just to clear up what could be a pre existing code)

Im gonna go for it being the crankshaft sensor (think its probably the cheapest thing to replace as well)

crank shaft sensor would stop the car running am sure and the others would cause uneven running but may clear up when crank shaft is changed if (suspect maf senser aint good ether) its still at fault after an ecu re set and see if runs then, think ive seen acrank sebsor on flea bay but second hand

reset it, tried again, same faults, was fault free last week, often check, where is crank sensor located , ? thanks steve

not sure never changed 1 but think its under altinator by flywheel but some 1 will know.. sorry

flywheel!!! why the hell did i put that i meant crank pully

Crank sensor is, front of engine, behind main crank pulley, below the altenator, you need a 10mm spanner to get the bolt out. Cam sensor is on the left hand head, behind the top cam pulley.

found it cleaned,it , same, reset ecu, same outcome,

Are you sure the Ecu is resetting, it's very strange that you have 3 faults logging themselves after only firing the engine for a couple of secs.

followed instructions , given, connect black to black, green to green, hold accelerator for 20 secs, turn to ignition then count, ??/ wasnt that correct ???

anyways
admitted defeated , had her towed to garage this afternoon, they think fueling or air but aint getting started on her till tomorrow afternoon, just missing her,,lol, thanks all for help and who knows i may need more help if garage are left scratching there heads,

dont know if you can at this stage but you need to set off down the road to full re set so ecu knows speedo etc works,then light should flash constant but sounds like sensor is goosed so need to iliminate some things by the sound of it
