Default PLease identify this plug

Was changing over my coil pack today to try to rid a problem, unfortunatly it didnt. BUT I found this plug floating around roughly were the windscreen washer bottle is.

Any ideas what it could be?

Cookie

Missing EGT sensor will throw up a CEL if you are running a mapped OEM Bugeye WRX ECU.

Other than that it has no effect on performance...the EGT sensor is removed on the STi LOL

Is it attached to the loom next to the offside suspension turret ??

I was just about to say EGT/cat on fire sensor as everyone has, but them as SD69 says it's on the wrong side..?!!

Whatever it is is looks too clean to have been disconnected for very long..! Hopefully you've found the answer to your recent problems..

If you can't see a socket/sender or something within reach of the cable you need one of the specialists to identify it..

That's the plug to the TGV motor on the pass. side inlet manifold. It should have brought up a CEL unless the TGVs have been removed and mapped out.
If the TGVs are still meant to be in place then it would lead to odd running.

Thumbs up

Good spot, and nice to know..

Lets hope he hasn't done the TGV delete and this is his problem..

IMHO, from the photo, that plug does look a bit too clean to have been off long..!
