all the bits fitted, time for a re-map....
Hi Guys, it's getting to the point of mapping the car now....
I have rotated the inlet, fitted the front mount, fitted the parralel fuel rails, 550 injectors (AF ones) SX FPR, walbro fuel pump - and it still starts
i guess its ready to fit the Simtek (most prob) and then mapped.
I just wanted to see if there is anything else that needs doing before it's mapped.
I have simply fitted some ally tube as the inlet pipe and so have not got a supply to the ICSV (currently has a mini air filter on it which i read that some people use) and i have not got any of the other pipes off it.
Do i need to plumb any of these in or will a Simtek do without these? i know it will do away with the MAF.
Do i need to fit the dump valve to aid the life of the turbo?
i do need to get an adapter so that i can fit the fuel pressure gauge to that we can set the FPR to the correct pressure.
It is a new clutch and flywheel and so the clutch needs a bit of heat to bed it in i feel, but it should be fine after i drive it for it's MOT.
Any advice welcome as long as it's constructive
Minty.

How about you list your MY of car and its mods, then people can advise better.
You'll probably need to plumb the ISCV in, depends on what your mapper says, who will you be using?
