as above this my replacement turbo old was running 1.5 bar was a zerosport turbo believed to be a vf28 modded a bit but want to no what i can run this one at ??? cheers

my vf35 runs 1.2 bar seems fine doesnt have problem

i ran a vf35 in my type r.

using avcr it boosted 1.45 - 1.5 but i used to hit fuel cut!
started slipin clutch also if i was in a high gear and floored it.

so turned it down to 1.4.

am not saying its safe to run at 1.4 bar its just what i did.

Mine is mapped by Zen at 1.45 Bar, but the Power Commander can read as high as 1.59 Bar on cold days. 15 months running like this and turbo is still going strong.

im running 1.3 bar on my VF35 its on a MY99 with 440's, STI 8 TMIC, apexi power FC, FPR, Walbro and full decat etc, sometimes hits about 1.38 max on the commander and its running fine...im thinking of going for 550's and more boost in the future...at a guess id say my car is around the 300-310bhp mark?

so it seems they can take u to 1.5 or so?i think the VF35 is kinda maxxed around the 340-350bhp mark

1.35bar peak on my MY99 with supporting mods. Produces 338 and 343ft lbs measured on the delta dash. Not much left for the turbo to give I'd imagine, but makes for a very responsive car at this level. Can be a little surge prone is the only drawback.

1.5 in the midrange maybe, then tapering down to 1.3/1.2bar at redline

i find with my vf 35 i hit 1.2 peak and more towards the redline it slowly makes drops to 0.9.
mines the 96 facelift jdm so that 280ps and local tuners dp seem reckon its mapped to, because there no played with solinoids or anything says they dont run 1.2 bar stock so im proberly only looking at stock specs id think with age and wear.
but it doesnt half come on boost aggresive tho on mine not subtle in anyway, an mines quite a bit worn now whines a lot not long till it needs reconditioning but its been like that for months now still takes a damm good thrashing.

ran a vf35 on my04 sti when i had it, it was remapped to 350bhp and was sitting on full boost at 1.5 bar never did it any hurt
