Default Radiator fitting MY00 - any tips?

Im going to be replacing my radiator with a Nissen replacement one, can someone who has done this before please confirm the following.

Is that a drainage tap in the bottom left corner, drain this first?

Hows the best way to flush out the system?

When refilling the system Ive heard that filling it via the hose that connects to the turbo is best as this results in no air locks.

Any other tips? Car is MY00 UK Impreza Turbo non air con.

Would a leaking/cracked radiator result in steamy air coming thru the heating vents? The windows then mist up!?
