Default Cam belt change...

Do you guys change your cam belt according to millage or age? Just wondering as my car is nearly five years old but has only covered 25K.

I would agree, even with low millage the rubber is still exposed to heat, cold, oil and other road grime. This can all lead to the rubber breaking down and eventually letting go. I would err on the side of caution and do mine every 4yrs or 45k whichever comes first. It might be a pricey job, but, nowhere near as expensive as a engine rebuild.
