Hi, I've just bought an '02 Legacy 2 litre GL Sport auto. The amber engine check light is on constantly whilst the engine is running, but the car car runs beutifully smooth. Can anyone give me some advice as to what this is indicating and once sorted how can I reset it.

Not sure about an amber engine check light? are you sure its not water level or something similar? Amber is usually a warning for something not engine detroying at that point.
