Default 18" on Classics

18" alloys on 1995 classic, will they fit ok, only for shows not drag or handling, but will be used often,

Mine rubbed immediately. I had to get the arches rolled, then they never caught even 4 up and luggage on the RAC.

If there the correct offset and you use 215/35/18 tyres you shouldn't have any problems

Agreed.

However..... i have had 18"s on mine for about 3 years now, and i recently put some 17"s on for a day. Handled so much better on the 17"s.

Yes i run 215/35/18 but thinking of changing for slightly larger profile 35 bit small

I changed my wheels for the same reason, for show use only but i put 19's on mine and had to roll the arches but it looks the business now not so good on the handling front as the other lad said but it's what you want it for that matters.

What would be the correct offset as i am looking at getting 18"s for mines at the moment?

18 inch ultralite atec 789's in bronze on my94 sti wagon, no problems whatsoever

ive 18" on mine and its fine rubbs a little at the back and the 35 series tyre is very low but the look very good.....

Im using an 18" with a 225/40 tyres on... They rub a little on full lock but its not too bad, also catch the arch on potholes... I intend on getting them rolled. They are the 48 offset though, I think a 52 would have been better as this is for the classic.
