18" alloys on 1995 classic, will they fit ok, only for shows not drag or handling, but will be used often,

Mine rubbed immediately. I had to get the arches rolled, then they never caught even 4 up and luggage on the RAC.

If there the correct offset and you use 215/35/18 tyres you shouldn't have any problems

Agreed.

However..... i have had 18"s on mine for about 3 years now, and i recently put some 17"s on for a day. Handled so much better on the 17"s.

I changed my wheels for the same reason, for show use only but i put 19's on mine and had to roll the arches but it looks the business now not so good on the handling front as the other lad said but it's what you want it for that matters.

Im using an 18" with a 225/40 tyres on... They rub a little on full lock but its not too bad, also catch the arch on potholes... I intend on getting them rolled. They are the 48 offset though, I think a 52 would have been better as this is for the classic.
