Default Pivot acs-pro

not wantin to sound stupid but i have just bought another impreza,its a 1996 import,wrx with an sti red top engine,what bhp should this be putting out,it has a induction kit and centre de-cat,also it has fitted a Pivot acs-pro fitted,any idea on settings for this as my 10 year old wants to start turning the settings up

Which Car is a WRX STi either 260 or 280.

Does the Pivot look like this?


If so take it off, as it tricks the ecu into thinking more or less air is coming in then is actually coming in.

hi mate,the engine was a 280 bhp,the box is similar but has a lot more buttons and dials,and as far as i know it has been on the car for 2 years,had a uk impreza last year but this thing is much much faster

Well with 280 vs 204 or 215 for the UK it should feel/be faster .

i would still take the Pivot thing off though.

With mine i traced them back so far then cut them,not saying this is the tidiest method but it worked just be careful of what wires you do cut though

mine has white,blue and black in a sleeve and a red one that is separate.

If you're worried abut what wires to cut (i know i was) get a good auto electrician to do it or help you.
