I think its best if you've had anything done regarding the suspension/shocks etc, anything like that.

Always good to keep things how they should be IMO. Go get it checked, it may not need a tweak, but my guess is it will.

Have you tried Protyre Gloucester? Think they are a bit more reasonable on price.

these are the sort of things they alter and check mate, no idea what any of it does other than camber but it makes a big difference if they're all pointing the right way

so to answer your question dave, yes it's well worth doing. some cars are miles out of allingment!

Just had a full alignment check at Powerstation-Tewkesbury: £72.00

This check includes all aspects of alignment for front and rear axles:
Camber
Castor
Toe angle
K.P.I.
Setback

They will provide a full computerised printout of all initial measurements and final measurements once the check is complete.

Iprezas are very sensative to alignment so this check should be carried out at least once a year, any time you clip a kerb, hit a heavy pothole or any time you fit new tyres or suspension parts.

PowerStation

Had to have this done to mine after some hub work at API , well worth it the car drove so much better afterwards. That was about 2 yrs ago so I may well get it rechecked.

Defo worth it.

I had mine done as soon as i bought the car. It felt like it was pulling to the left all the time.
It turned out the car was actually crabbing along. (Front wheels were pointing to the left as well as rear.) Pretty dangerous, never mind what it was doing to the tyre wear!!

Cost me around 80 smackers at tyres northampton.
Btw you can have an optional setting which is more orientated to track days.

For some reason Impreza's seem very sensitive to good alignment/geom (maybe due to AWD..? ).

Which is why you have to wonder why on earth they seem to come out of the factory with the alignment all over the place..!

Well worth it, especially if you have any uneven tyre wear..
