Question ECU Changing back to standard

Hi all, I sold my 93WRX last year to get a sensible car but i got bored so have just bought a 1999 UK Impreza wagon :-)

I am currently trying to get it back to standard form. Looking through the recipts with it it looks like its got a superchip fitted. I would like to fit a standard ECU.

My questions are, would it be obvious looking at the ECU that it is a superchip?
Replacing it with a standard ECU - would this be as simple as pulling out the superchip and putting a standard one in then the car running normally?

If so does anyone want a superchip who wants a straight swap?

Many thanks
Matt

If the car is pretty much standard, then getting the original ecu, will plug in, but you might need your keys coded. The 99/00 is and ECuTek programmable ecu. Speak to one of the mappers, they will have come across this before , Im sure
