Default sports cat downpipe question

i've been recommended to get a 100 cell downpipe, as they are better than the 200 cell ones,

went to exhaustsuk, and they don't do the 100 cell ones, cos they won't pass the mots (£345 fitted .. good price or not?) and he says their 200 cell ones "just" passes MOT

is that true?

what about the ones on scoobyworld Ninja Downpipe with Fast flow Cat (100 cell)
is that hanging on a thin line?

what about the TSL thundercat ones are they 200 cell?

what do you guys recommend?

Thoroughly recommend the Ninja, have one on mine together with a Magnex centre and backbox.

Passed two MOTs now no problems at all on my classic

I've just bought a prodrive d/p and that cat is 100 cel. Would have thought it would pass an mot because subaru do it as a fitted option.

Both my car and STi X's produced power figures for our mods consistent with what would have been expected had we fitted full decats with no issues at MOT time whatsoever, mine even passed the test without being red hot! It had been allowed to sit for 30 mins prior to testing!

At £299 it's hard to justify getting the decat one if anything!

As Ns said above

Mine wasn't even warm when tested - 5min drive to garage from cold, MOTd later on in the day!

No brainer for me given the quality and price
