Default when to change intercoolers!!?

hi guys, currently running in my 2.5 conversion scoob, its got vf28 turbo, standard injectors, top mount intercooler, full stainless including de-cat,lightweight pulleys and simtek ecu,and uprated fuel pump.just wondering when to upgrade to frontmount intercooler?the car was originally a turbo 2000 so im using the stock top mount.i dunno what power the car will be when i get it re-mapped in 700 miles.but dont want to give it stick if the inlet temps will be dangerously high?im not sure wheather to get uprated injectors next or front mount?has anyone got similar spec to give me advice?as dunno what it will be when re-mapped?300bhp?cheers guys

i would think a sti 7/8 topmount should work very well for you,but use the undertray as well and if you can face it,one of the replica big sti newage scoops.their are guys running well over 400 bhp with the sti intercooler.

on hot days you'll suffer from the top mount, no matter what your running.

front mount is the way to go, the downsides are myths and urban legends, or compatability issues
