Default turbo gauges

is it worth while fitting a turbo gauge to prevent it getting damaged? or should i make sure the car has heated up before using high revs. i dont thrash the car and certainly dont want to pay for a new turbo if prevention can prolong its life.

A turbo gauge is useful to keep an eye on boost pressure mainly on modified cars.

You always ensure that oil is heated up to operating temperature before giving the engine heavy load (whenever possible).

if you are going to fit a boost gauge then i would certainly fit an oil pressure and temp gauge while at it.
