Default Eagle Rods

How far can Eagle rods be pushed in terms of boost and power handling?

Mine were fine at circa 400bhp. The engine is still going strong as far as I know.

I would imagine that any more than 500 of each would be approaching their limits.

The yanks claim 900bhp out of these but you can never believe what they say.

Daz do you think they will handle 2Bar boost on a GT30 hybrid using vpower/methanol?

There was a fella in time attack last year running a GT35 @ 2bar on a 2.5 with eagles. Not sure what happened to be honest.

If it was me, i'd be looking at Pauters, Crower or the RCMS offerings for that level.

That said, I was planning to run my 2.0L with eagles at 2bar with a GT30R until I decided for the 2.5 option.

I thought you were having one of Chy's engines??

Hows the Chy built 2.5? I'm considering going down the same route. But with supplying my own internals for him to build.

RCM / Arrow WRC Rods
RCM / Omega Pistons

Its a beauty! very responsive it set to 1bar boost and boost duty is turned right down but even then it is very good and dont half shift lol
The rods used are slightly longer and really help with the response and torque from engine on the 321T+ turbo. Car will be mapped on a simtek ecu, will try to video it while its mapped and then given a final impression.

When its done mate I wouldn't mind you taking me for a spin in it.

I'm only in Donny so a doddle for me to pop across. Mine will also be on the simtek when its done. Long way off yet though.
