Default ssqv erratic idle

Brand new ssqv bov makes car idle and run erratic,any ideas?When old forge bov put back on runs ok.Ta.

It needs either removing or adjusting! It sounds like it's leaking at idle, and the leak will cause running faults due to intake air by passing the MAF. From memory, there's an adjuster at the top that needs screwing in, to tighten the spring. Just keep going until it idles properly.

There is a bolt at the back with a locking bolt,i didnt know if that was just to adjust noise that bov makes?Ta.

Just checked all hoses and no leaks
