I'm fitting a version 3/4 intercooler to replace my slanty one. How much do people pay an engineering company to cut off and blank the pipe thats not needed? I've just been to one company that said "sorry mate its cast, can't touch it".

£15 pound is cheap if they Tig welded the Alu .Price of the argon gas and consumables ie filler wire and tungsten
