Default Spoiler Brake Light

Do you know if the spoiler brake light from the low level can be transfered to the mid level spoiler? I have tried this thread in lighting but it seems a bit quiet in there!

cheers

I was after 1 a while ago for my sti 6 spoiler, couldnt find one anywhere not even breakers yards so i ended up pulling the 1 i had to bits and repairing it by replacing a few leds. Mine had a few out because water had got in and corroded some terminals etc. All ok now though, hope that helps

cheers mate, i thought that might be the case, i can see the problem its the component which is a 1inch long rectangle component with lots of legs, like looking at a square millipede from the side. any idea what this does?

No idea to be honest matey my leds seemed to be in blocks of 4 and thats all there were in the strip. It might be an idea if you have it in pieces to take it to Maplins or a similar electronics type shop to identify the part, get a new one and then get somebody whos good with a soldering iron eg a tv repair man to swap bits over.Bit of a pain in the rs i know but there you go
