Default Which plugs?

Can anyone suggest which plugs i should use on my 01 Bugeye WRX? Someone mentioned something 7's the last time but means nothing to me. Think the make is NGK. Also how often should they be changed? The current plugs have been in for 20K

is it remapped and moddified? if so and pushing over 300 its best to go for the PFR7B NGK. been told to change once a year on moddified engine
if its standard(by that i mean around 220-270) go for the same plug but 6
difference is the 7's run cooler then the 6's

It's slightly modded, in that it has de cat up pipe and centre section and is pushing out around 260. Did have a slight missfire before on the 6's but wasn't sure if it was just a bad set, changed to 7's and seemed ok, but not sure if it may be time for a plug change after 20K

As it happens I recently asked the same question.

I have an 01 bug WRX, just over 300bhp. Was on NGK sixes. ECU light came on, garage said my std plugs were running too hot, recommended sevens. Had them fitted this week and there was a distinct improvement in "perkiness". The sixes had only done 12000 mils, so I'm wondering whether running hot had caused excessive wear.

Anyhoo, you want NGK PFR7B, as Dave B says.
