Question car holding back

hi ive got a subaru turbo 2000 p reg wagon its got a front mount intercooler,full stainless system inc up pipe td05 turbo,induction kit ive just had it remapped and its bin fine for a few days but now its starting to hold back at about 4000 rpm when i put my foot down can anyone help me thanks

bye mapped i mean had a remap chip put in the ecu not taken any were

i agree get it remapped instead. also it may be down to your boost solenoid not being up to the job.

but its been fine for days running alot quicker at 1.1 bar and picking up faster the bloke that fitted the chip has said it could be my coil packs or plugs is he right or just fobing me off

the ecu in ur car will learn.

It will seem ok and be fooled for a while but then it will realise that something isnt right and protect itself.

Get it properly mapped and this will not be an issue

i agree with above unlikely your coil packs but plugs can make your car hold back at higher revs

ive took it to a mate that knows quite abit about them and took him out in the car he thinks plugs so ill give that a try thanks
