I followed this to do a reset JollyGreenMonster.co.uk

Should I do it again and hold throttle for longer ?

as JGM states just full throttle then half way for 2 secs so this will be right. maybe you could try longer see if it helps ive always left it longer and if ive had a cell code like speed sensor or something to do with car motion ive just drove it and they have disapeerd. hope it clears

another way would be to take battery off for a good few hours to re set it.
this might sound like a long shot but if the accel switch is near the peddle you might of disturbed the wiring conecting it due to pluging black green plugs in and out and its all in the same place it could be worth a cheak.........

Check all wiring, looks fine under there, I've done a reset a while back so the plugs were easy to get to, didn't disturb anythin under there ???

Anybody else got any ideas ??

Is it UK car if so then 43 is a red herring and nothing to worry about. Just ignore it.

The base code in the ESL ECU is from a Z4 ECU WRX where the code is valid.

The Prodrive UK ECU upgrade does the same, as it too uses the Z4 Code.
